The GHH RAND® remote discharge air cooler has been specifically developed with a multitude of applications in mind for use with both tractor, trailer, and truck air compressors. Featuring a new, slimline design which allows installation in the narrowest of places, our remote air cooler (RAC) is suitable for all types of chassis configurations.

The RAC is designed for use within the dry bulk discharge market for products that require lower discharge air temperatures such as fresh food items like sugar and chocolate powder, or heat-sensitive products like plastics.

The cooler is offered in two versions, volume dependent 800 m3 /h (RAC8) and 1,150 m3 /h (RAC11), optimised to best suit your installation without creating unwanted humidity in discharged airflow. Its preassembled design allows for an out-of-the-box installation and an easy coupled installation to our compressor range.

Slim Line Design

The compact and space saving design of the RAC allows it to bolt in between the chassis rail components simply and quickly.

Fully engineered, pre-assembled design complete with mounting bracket means that the RAC is ready to install straight away, offering a low-hassle, fit and forget solution.

Highly Flexible Design with Multiple Discharge Connection Points

The RAC provides a high level of flexibility to the customer, enabling configuration as a single cooled discharge or, alternatively, a dual outlet. This provides the user with the added benefit of a hot air discharge for tank drying after wash. A further optional discharge port is also available for Rigid Truck applications.

Temperature Sensitive Discharge

This bolt-on solution can be added as an ancillary to any of our compressor packages to help customers meet the health and safety requirements of industries where heat-sensitive items must be offloaded efficiently.

Optimised to Vehicle Configuration

The RAC is designed to operate effectively throughout the entire operating ranges of all GHH RAND compressors and encompasses a highly flexible customer interface. The cooler is suitable for new and existing side mount installations as well as for trailer and behind-cab mounting.

Easy Fix Chassis Mounting Bracket

The remote air cooler is designed to be mounted perpendicular to the vehicle chassis, with an easy to install German engineered mounting bracket providing a rigid fixing to the frame.

Configurable Options

Highly flexible with multiple options to suit your exact vehicle configurations. Options include: port connections, hose couplings, colour, sheet metal covers, fan control, etc.

Optimised Servicing

Non-return valves are located in an easy-to-service position offering a simplified maintenance option compared to other installations where servicing of non-return valves is often not undertaken due to difficultly in disassembly of the discharge line.

Match Your Fleet Colour

For a sleek, complementing vehicle appearance, we offer customised colour coverings to match your vehicle, helping you to align your truck styling for a stylish appearance. Standard colour is a metallic silver with glossy finish and we have 16 different RAL colours for cover material available.
