The Gellert Co., Inc. was formed in 1985 by combining the machinery departments of Hawaiian Equipment Company and Durant-Irvine Company. The first location was on Colburn Street in Kalihi Kai. The company moved to its current location at 444 Waiakamilo Road in 2002.
We specialize in the sales and service of industrial machinery including pumps, air compressors, commercial water heaters and hot water storage tanks. Our motto is “We make it work”. When you purchase equipment from The Gellert Company you can rest assured that we will stand behind it from startup to training and troubleshooting. This goes for a simple air compressor to a packaged diesel engine fire pump with booster systems and generator sets in one prefabricated building. Our staff includes a mechanical engineer, a licensed electrician and factory certified technicians for pumps, air compressors, variable frequency drives, fire pump controllers and specialized control systems.
We have provided equipment for many of the hotels and resorts in Hawaii as well as the utilities, refineries and military facilities. We conduct “hands-on” training for service technicians as well as seminars for consulting engineers.
