Enduro Rotary Screw Air Ends

Enduro rotary screw air ends are engineered to deliver reliable, high-performance compressed air solutions for OEM partners and system integrators. Designed with a focus on efficiency, durability, and compact integration, these air ends form the core of modern compressor systems across diverse industries. With optimized rotor geometry, advanced sealing technologies, and precision manufacturing, Enduro air ends help maximize uptime while reducing total cost of ownership. Whether building new equipment or upgrading existing designs, OEMs can rely on consistent performance and long lifecycle value.

Precision Engineering for Peak Efficiency

At the heart of every Enduro rotary screw air end is a precisely engineered rotor profile that maximizes volumetric efficiency while minimizing energy losses. This advanced geometry ensures optimal air compression with reduced internal leakage, allowing systems to operate at lower power requirements without compromising output.

Tight manufacturing tolerances and high-quality materials contribute to superior sealing and minimal wear. This not only enhances efficiency but also provides stable performance across varying load conditions. For OEMs, this translates into compressors that deliver predictable output, helping end users maintain productivity and energy control.

Robust Design for Long-Term Reliability

Enduro air ends are designed for continuous operation in demanding environments. The robust housing construction and durable internal components ensure resistance to thermal stress, pressure fluctuations, and contamination. Integrated bearing systems are engineered for long service intervals, supporting extended operation with minimal maintenance requirements.

Advanced lubrication pathways and cooling features help maintain optimal operating temperatures, reducing component fatigue and extending equipment life. This reliability is essential for applications where downtime is costly, such as manufacturing, energy, and process industries.

Seamless OEM Integration

Flexibility is essential for OEM applications, and Enduro air ends are designed to integrate easily into a wide range of compressor systems. Their compact footprint and modular design allow for simplified installation while supporting flexible system configurations.

Standardized connection points, adaptable drive options, and scalable performance ranges enable manufacturers to tailor solutions to specific application needs. This adaptability ensures that OEMs can meet diverse customer requirements while maintaining design efficiency and production consistency.

Optimized Performance Across Applications

Enduro rotary screw air ends support a wide range of operating conditions, making them suitable for industries such as automotive, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and general manufacturing. Their ability to deliver consistent airflow and stable pressure performance ensures reliable operation in both continuous and intermittent duty cycles.

Performance optimization extends to energy efficiency, where reduced power consumption contributes to lower operational costs and improved sustainability metrics. For end users, this means quieter operation, reduced energy bills, and a smaller environmental footprint.

Simplified Maintenance and Lifecycle Value

Maintenance plays a critical role in compressor performance, and Enduro air ends are designed with accessibility and serviceability in mind. Simplified component layouts allow for easier inspection and routine servicing, reducing downtime and maintenance complexity.

High-quality sealing systems help protect internal components from contaminants, ensuring long-term reliability. Combined with extended service intervals, this results in lower maintenance costs and improved lifecycle value for both OEMs and end users.

The Enduro Air End has set new standards for air end endurance and efficiency. Numerous screw compressor manufacturers throughout the globe have selected Enduro as their first-choice solution, with over 300,000 units now installed. With its cost-effective operation in a multitude of applications, we’re proud to claim that Enduro is one of the world’s most popular and reliable air end.

Unique design - Tamrotor technology

The design of the Enduro air ends makes operation reliable and maintenance easy, ensuring minimal downtime. Based on an innovative and proprietary rotor profile, Enduro is the result of 50 years of expertise from the industry leader in screw compressor technology.

The heart of it all – air end

Various names are used for the oil-injected screw air ends. As the saying goes, a dear child has many names. The most commonly used names are air end, screw air end, screw block, block, oil-lubricated air end and rotary screw. Air end is not called “the heart of it all” for nothing. Screw air ends are designed to produce continuous, steady air flow. By this ultimate design criterion, screw air ends are great for applications where consistent air flow is a must, for example in industrial plants and operations. In addition to the continuous operation of the screw air ends, they are reliable and durable even in harsh conditions. For example, mining and construction rigs as well as firefighting equipment manufactures choose screw air ends due to their reliability and durability.

Tamrotor air end structure

Below you can see the Tamrotor Enduro structure. Air end is not called “the heart of it all” for nothing. Air end is the part, where the actual compression takes place. Inside the air end are female and male rotors that rotate in opposite directions. They physically squeeze the air by an external force.
